Spring Flowers, Tucson, Part 26: An Orchid-looking root parasite (Pima Rhatany, aka Krameria erecta)

Pima Rhatany, Krameria erecta. [Link to CalScape.] These are root parasites, turns out. By the looks of things, this one is living on the roots of a prickly pear.
