Those parched landscapes within, wastelands
trammeled by hellfire, negligence and cruelty—
in time these, too, will heal. Fresh waters will come.
Seeds protected by soil will sprout within you,
and the charred parts will nourish the new,
so that your hillsides sing with fresh blooms
and your sky echoes your breathtaking radiance.
