Coming soon: Cardboard Mosaics!

I just solved two issues: (1) what to do with the stack of painted cardboard that haven’t led to anything (an Island of Misfit Cardboard Art!), and (2) what to do about tiles for mosaic art, which I had already been thinking about when a good friend of mine randomly suggested it—a confirmatory coincidence, if you will.

I still need to figure out the adhesive. Modge Podge came to mind right away, but then right after that, all those mesmerizing videos of epoxy work that facebook kept showing me a few years ago has me scheming in epoxy. Stay tuned!

Pre-publication update: the same friend, having called me, fortuitously as I was writing this last night, shared with me one of her adhesive mixes: Elmer’s glue + paint, mixed with clay to give the glue some heft.
